AfA Conducts Staff Training on Strategic Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation

The management of Alliances for Africa organized a 4-day residential capacity training for her staff on Strategic Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation with support from UNTF.

The training held at Rockview Hotels Owerri on the 19th-21st and 23rd-25th of June respectively, with its main objective to improve staff members’ capacity on Project planning and Monitoring and Evaluation.

On the Strategic Planning training, we were also able to review various aspects of our work, including our scope and thematic areas, in a bid to build resilience for our organization for the next five years.

The training increased our staff knowledge capacity on idea conceptualization and proposal writing which is the life wire of any organization especially as the civic space continue to shrink with less funding. Other core areas were project management, planning, evaluation, budgeting as well as best practices in situation analysis in the work we do.
