Health Awareness Talk on Corona Virus and Mental Health

Mental Health Awareness

On Friday, 29th January 2021, we had a Health Awareness Talk on Corona Virus and Mental Health with Murtala Mohamed Foundation.

It is well known that pandemics have a negative impact on the mental, physical, emotional and psychological well-being of individuals.  Anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorders are some of the resulting effects of pandemics such as the Corona Virus.

With the second wave of COVID 19, it has become important that we all keep safe. It is also sacrosanct for organizations like ours, who are at the forefront, to be mentally aware and put measures in place to protect our sanity while providing unrelenting services for humanity.

It is imbalanced to be providing aid for others when we are lacking it.

Alliances for Africa is concerned about the welfare of its staff as much as she is about that of those who she fights for.

We need to know the warning signs and what needs to be done at all times.
