This law, however, has so many lapses and falls short in prescribing appropriate punishments for perpetrators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">This is one of many steps taken by Alliances for Africa to curb this heinous crime of human trafficking and modern-day slavery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">Efforts are being made; sensitisations and campaigns are carried out, to enlighten the public on the dangers and criminality of this act.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">What&#8217;s your take?
