An Essay Competition on Improving Access to Justice for women and girls (A2J4WG)

BACKGROUND/ OBJECTIVE

Alliances for Africa (AfA) In partnership with Education as a Vaccine (EVA) is implementing a project targeted at ending violence against women and girls through influencing and advocating for policy reforms to increase their access to justice. As part of our activities to increase knowledge and participation of women and girls in Imo, we are initiating an essay competition for female students in tertiary institutions in Imo state.
We are looking to award two female undergraduates from each higher institution in Imo State who are able to showcase their brilliance through suggesting ways women and girls can have unhindered access to justice summarized in not more than 350 words

Essay must be in one page,
Font – Tahoma, Font size with 12

Required qualification:

Applicant must be;
An undergraduate from any tertiary institution in Owerri
a female
Must attend the screening event for their various institutions at a stipulated date and Time.

 

Deadline: Before midnight Monday May 31, 2021.

Mode of Submission
All applications should be submitted to faith@alliancesforafrica.org CC – emailafaafrica@gmail.com with A2C4WG (name of Institution) as the subject. The email body should contain the following information; Name, institution, phone number, age, department and level.

Note that: failure to follow these guidelines may lead to disqualification.
